-Oakland Charter Academy was the only charter school in the county to win the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2008.

-OCA was awarded the Title I Academic Achievement Award School from the California Department of Education in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

-OCA has achieved over a 300 point increase in our API score for the past 6 years. OCA now ranks among the top of all California middle schools. Our current API score is 954 and a school rank of 10.
