*As of Summer 2009, Oakland Charter High School is the top performing high school in the City of Oakland, and County of Alameda with an API of 959 and rank of 10.
*5 OCHS students were selected as Johns Hopkins University Next Generation Fund recipients in 2009, 8 in 2010. The award will guarantee a university placement in during the regular year in advanced classes, and during the summers in a residential scholarship program in universities across the nation. Congratulations, and keep the numbers growing!!
*OCHS has been granted a 3-year WASC Interim Accredidation status in 2010.
