-As of Summer 2010, Oakland Charter High School is one of the top performing high school in the City of Oakland, and County of Alameda with an API of 961 and rank of 10.

- Five OCHS students were selected as Johns Hopkins University  Next Generation Fund recipients. The award will guarantee a university placement in during the regular year in advanced classes, and during the summers in a residential scholarship program in universities across the nation. Congratulations, and keep the numbers growing!!

-OCHS has been granted a 3-year WASC Interim Accredidation status in 2010.

-Applications to OCHS will Be Available in the Fall  2010. Register early to get your child enrolled at OCHS!

- OCHS has joined the BACSAC Athletic Conference and will be offerring team sports. Thus far boys and girls soccer has been established. Depending on the ability to obtain a practice facility; more sports may follow.
